Summary of Job Duties

The mental health clinician duties include providing individual, couple and group counseling, emergency mental health services; consulting with the University community; outreach presentations; clinical supervision of graduate students; clinical disposition activities; staff meetings; coordination of specific areas (e.g. group, outreach, training, embedded, eating disorders, etc.); clinical documentation; obtaining and maintaining licensure in the state of Arkansas in the relevant discipline; and other duties as assigned by the CAPS Director, Senior Associate Director, Associate Director, or Assistant Directors.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications for Mental Health Clinician I: Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in social work or counseling; Eligible to obtain provisional licensure in relevant discipline in the state of Arkansas within 60 days of the start date with the expectati...
