We are looking for a Method specialist for discrete optimization to join our team. As a Method Specialist at Lufthansa Systems Hungária, you will be collaborating with software engineers and fellow specialists to enhance our crew optimization solutions.
In this role, you will work with different customers and translate their airline crew scheduling requirements into customized rules, and design algorithms to solve their sophisticated mathematical models effectively.
Beyond tackling algorithmic challenges, a substantial part of your role will involve the creation and maintenance of robust software systems required to execute and calibrate these algorithms efficiently. You will be responsible for ensuring that our systems adhere to our software engineering standards, and you will gain a comprehensive understanding of crew scheduling processes to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
