Municipal Engineering Technologist II

The Engineering Services department of the City of Airdrie is seeking a Municipal Engineering Technologist II to support municipal infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with external and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in the CCC/FAC process to ensure developers fulfill their responsibilities to the City of Airdrie and its residents during development, holding industry accountable to sustainable and environmentally friendly construction practices while providing high quality infrastructure.
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up to date as-built drawing inventory and ensuring quality information availability to internal and external customers.
• Represent Engineering Services in external and internal meetings as required.
• Support the Planning department in review of development permits to ensure they meet the City’s engineering standards.
