Purpose of Role

As a Naval Architecture Technologist, you’ll contribute to engineering and technical projects focused on testing, evaluation, and maintenance activities. Working under general supervision, you’ll help ensure the operational readiness of Canada’s naval assets while gaining hands‑on experience and preparing detailed reports that inform critical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting test and trials onboard a ship or submarine;
• Conducting technical investigations and reviewing documentation on various systems, equipment, or component installed or to be installed onboard a RCN ship or submarine;
• Performing validation, tests, simulations, integrations, or troubleshooting of new equipment, systems or components;
