Job Description

Description:

Handles the day-to-day administrative, clerical, and member-service operations of the union office. Acting as the first point of contact for members, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and greeting visitors with professionalism; Maintaining accurate member records, track union dues, process initiation fees, and update the membership database; Logging, organizing, and tracking formal grievances, arbitration files, and collective bargaining agreements with strict confidentiality; Performing basic bookkeeping tasks, handle petty cash, prepare bank deposits; Coordinating schedules, preparing agendas, recording detailed minutes for executive board and general membership meetings, and assist in organizing union events or rallies; Managing office inventory, ordering supplies, handling incoming/outgoing mail, and maintaining digital and physical filing systems.
