Job Description
Become a Research Associate in the Junior Indigenous Scholars Program at the University of Toronto, focusing on Indigenous law. This position offers valuable research and teaching experience in a prestigious faculty.
This one-year term role is perfect for aspiring legal scholars with a passion for Indigenous issues. Under the guidance of Professor John Borrows, you will engage in critical research, participate in faculty learning events, and contribute to an inclusive academic environment. Key Responsibilities:
β’ Research Indigenous law and create an original research paper
β’ Participate in faculty workshops and conferences
β’ Support teaching efforts in Indigenous Law
β’ Integrate into the academic life of the law school
Requirements:
β’ Must hold an LL.B. or J.D. degree (LLM desirable)
β’ Experience in research related to Indigenous issues
β’ Strong academic performance indicating future potential
