Operations Supervisor – Neegan Development

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Heavy Equipment Supervisor’s primary role is to train, direct, organize, and supervise a group of employees on the job site for quality work and efficient production.

Duties

• Supervise and direct all inspection activities within the job site.
• Ensure the changing shift foreman is informed of all current activities, including manpower and equipment locations, problems or safety concerns.
• Conduct toolbox/tailgate talks with crew at the beginning of each new shift and/or new site, discussing hazards, the FLRA approach, proper PPE, the day’s work, and answering crew questions.
• Keep detailed and accurate records, including timesheets, daily logbooks, and incident/accident/safety reports.
• Ensure that all complaints and requests for information are handled promptly and through the proper channels.
