Job Description
Become OREA’s Government Relations Specialist in Southwestern Ontario, focusing on vital advocacy efforts in a hybrid role. Drive initiatives that support REALTORS and real estate Member Boards.
In this permanent position, you will report to the Manager of Regional Government Relations, working closely on legislative priorities. Connecting with municipal and provincial officials, your skills in public affairs and stakeholder engagement will play a crucial role in ensuring REALTOR concerns influence public policy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in advocacy campaign development
• Support Member Boards with advocacy strategies
• Build relationships with elected officials
• Monitor issues affecting the real estate industry
• Organize REALTOR Roundtables for direct dialogue
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 3-5 years in government relations
• Understanding of legislative processes is necessary
