About the Opportunity

• Be responsible for the preparation and processing of weekly payroll for Union, Non-Union hourly and salaried employees from end to end
• Audit payroll processing to ensure accuracy
• Address payroll issues
• Ensure all data files are complete and approved for transmission
• Review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets and other input documents
• Track and enter all garnishments and other special payroll deductions
• Administer the issuance of T4's, ROE's, T2200, and various payroll reports as requested
• Ensure that all salaries/wages are paid accurately and in accordance with regulations promptly
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure payroll and other personnel records are accurate and up to date
• Assist in the preparation of year-end reports and filing of all annual returns with federal/provincial governments
