We are searching for a Payroll Specialist to join our client's team, who will manage end‑to‑end payroll processing for staff and lawyers, ensuring accuracy,pliance, and high‑quality service. This position is fully focused on payroll and involves close collaboration with HR, Finance, and Payroll leadership.
Key Responsibilities

Process bi‑weekly and semi‑monthly payroll

Validate payroll inputs such as new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, and retro adjustments

Maintain and update payroll data in Workday Payroll

Support system configuration updates, testing, and data integrity

Manage statutory deductions (CPP/QPP, EI, ie tax, EHT, CNESST, WSIB/WCB, and others)

Administer garnishments and court orders

Perform payroll reconciliations and support payroll‑to‑finance interfaces

Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits

Support year‑end activities, including T4/T4A processing
