Successful candidates receive a Faculty appointment at the commensurate level in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine, Max Rady College of Medicine, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Manitoba.

The Section of Pediatric Anesthesia provides tertiary intraoperative and perioperative care for all pediatric surgical subspecialties except cardiac, off‑site services for multiple medical and diagnostic procedures, and has an active acute pain service.
