Job Description
Pediatricians will diagnose and treat pediatric diseases and injuries in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.
Our work in the inpatient setting includes both newborns and pediatric patients.
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients
performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
assessing patient status relative to hospital admissions and discharges
prescribing medications and treatments
attending C-sections
consulting with colleagues on patient management and treatment plans
In partnership with our Pediatric Hospitalists, our pediatricians participate in inpatient call which covers the emergency department, the nursery, and the level II special care nursery.
