Job Description

Responsibilities

:
  • Work independently with your law clerk / paralegal to prosecute all plaintiffs' cases in a timely manner and to achieve a fair, reasonable and timely resolution.
  • Meet with clients and build cases from inception / pre-litigation through to discovery, mediation, pre-trial and trial.
  • Maintain a weekly target of fair and reasonable settlements in order to ensure clients are receiving excellent results and the firm is generating regular revenue.
  • Collaborate with other associate lawyers and firm owners on case development and strategies.
  • Be continually engaged in continuing legal education, reading case law, attending legal conferences and learning how to improve your litigation knowledge and skills.

    • Requirements:
  • 3+ years of Post Call (Ontario) experience
  • Experience preferred: Commercial / Civil Litigation, Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury and/or Insurance
