The Pharmacist (Floater) position plays an essential role in ensuring the quality and safety of patients' medications at Calgary Co-op Pharmacies. The pharmacist will report to the Pharmacy Manager and be responsible for filling prescriptions, maintaining records per Alberta Pharmaceutical Association guidelines, and providing information to customers while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and evaluate them for appropriateness, including maintenance of prescription records.
• Consult with physicians or other valid practitioners when clarification is needed.
• Administer injections and vaccinations on a routine basis.
• Provide patient‑oriented advice on proper use of prescription and over‑the‑counter medications.
