About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacy Research Registered Pharmacy Technician (Pharmacy Practice Assistant) is responsible for the coordination of the Pharmacy Department’s participation in dispensing and managing Clinical Drug Trials. The research registered technician/PPA is the person responsible for all aspects of maintaining the drug accountability and drug source documents required by clinical trial protocols and Federal Regulatory laws. The research registered technician/PPA informs pharmacy staff regarding dispensing of clinical trial medications, record keeping processes for dispensing, clinical trial standards and documentation, performs regular posting and billing processes and meets with the Clinical Trials Monitor, Study Coordinators and Investigators.
