Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for two Pharmacy Technicians to support a busy 250-bed inpatient hospital environment in Ventura, CA. The contract position offers an engaging role with variable days and afternoon shifts, working every other weekend. The start date is immediate, with an initial duration of at least 13 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding for inpatient medication orders


• Restock and maintain Pyxis automated dispensing units throughout patient care areas


• Respond to and field incoming telephone inquiries directed to the pharmacy department


• Assist with general inpatient pharmacy duties to support clinical medication distribution
