We are looking for a talented and motivated **PhD Intern**to join our team in Oslo, for a 3-year Industrial PhD program sponsored by the Research Council of Norway and Viridien. The focus will be on sparse geophysical acquisition and imaging, working towards a future with leaner and less energy demanding solutions that do not materially compromise subsurface imaging quality. The utilisation of unmanned and autonomous vessels and drones will be a central part of the project, in addition to new sensing techniques.

The position will be located mainly in the Viridien office in Oslo, but there will also be significant time at NTNU in Trondheim for academic courses. It is also possible you may travel to the offices of Reach Subsea in Bergen and Haugesund to participate in field tests and learn more about remotely controlled and autonomous marine.
