Job Description
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments and movement disorders
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Improve patientsβ mobility, function, and overall quality of life
- Provide education on rehabilitation, injury prevention, and home care
- Ensure compliance with professional standards in British Columbia
- Practice in accordance with regulations set by the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions (e.g., therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, electrotherapy)
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
