Davie is looking for a meticulous Pipefitter to report to the Foreman. This role requires expertise in assembling, adjusting, and fastening diverse mechanical elements for ventilation, HVAC, and more. You'll engage in workshop assembly, pressure testing, and commissioning processes to drive successful ship projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and install HVAC and piping components
• Adjust mechanical equipment as needed
• Read and interpret work orders and plans
• Operate forklifts or trucks for assembly tasks
• Conduct pressure tests to ensure system integrity
Requirements:
• DEP in Heavy Machinery, Marine Mechanics, or Pipefitting
