Job Overview

Under the direction of Poker Manager/House/Pit Boss, the Poker Dealer is responsible for dealing cards to guests in accordance with Alberta Gaming Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC) Terms and Conditions while providing excellent customer service. Maintaining the company’s core values is essential for this position. The Poker Dealer is critical to the success of our business and always maintains a professional manner.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Welcomes guests to the table and deals cards as per AGLC Terms and Conditions.
• Responds to guest issues and escalates as required.
• Monitors chips and cash and ensures the integrity of the game.
• Observes problematic guest behaviors and reports to the House/Pit Boss as required.
• Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with guests, ownership, employees, AGLC, community and charitable organizations.
