**_Roles & Responsibilities:_**
Postdoctoral Fellow
The newly established laboratory of Dr. Ali May in the Department of Cell, Developmental and Regenerative Biology and the Department of Otolaryngology is seeking to hire a creative and motivated postdoctoral fellow to advance our investigations in how epithelial organ patterning contributes to upper airway disease.
Our lab employs methods of single cell RNAseq, bulk RNA-seq, high resolution confocal microscopy, 3D image-rendering and in vivo model systems to fundamentally elucidate how epithelial patterning contributes to disease. We aim to define how multiple cell types organize and differentiate during development, maintain themselves during homeostasis and regenerate following injury.
With guidance and mentorship from Dr. May, the successful candidate will spearhead a project using single cell multiomics and computational approaches to elucidate epithelial cell dynami...
