Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Statistics and Data Science

Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in statistics and data science at Department of Mathematics, University of Oslo. Preferred starting date as soon as possible. Fellowship period: three years.

Place of work: Department of Mathematics, Blindern Campus, Oslo. The position is associated with the Norwegian Maritime AI Centre (MAI), a national initiative for research, innovation and education in AI for the maritime sector. You’ll work with students, PhD candidates, researchers and industry partners.

Candidate will be affiliated with the Statistics and Data Science Section, active in applied and theoretical statistics and data science, and highly involved in research at the intersection of statistics and machine learning.
