Position Summary: The Primary Care Land Ambulance Program at Ornge has quickly become a core component of Ornge’s Mission to overcome time and distance when it matters most. Paramedics in the PCLA Program will support patients in the care of critical and advanced care paramedic crews by ensuring they get to the care they need. Ensuring PCLA readiness is essential, and paramedics in the program will be responsible and accountable for ensuring their assets are in a constant state of readiness.

Qualifications:

• Current Primary Care Paramedic certification in good standing with a provincial Base Hospital.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as a fully certified Primary Care Paramedic.
• Meets qualifications and conditions outlined in the Ambulance Act/Ontario Regulations 257/00: MOH Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant (AEMCA) certificate, valid F Class (or higher) Driver’s License with sati...
