Position Overview
Principal Customs Technician (Fixed-term, 12 months) located in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Responsibilities- Ensures and executes compliance of internal customs controls and performs internal Mexico Customs Audits.
- Provides tariff classification for all merchandise for Mexico Customs.
- Determines recommended tariff classification for all merchandise for US Customs.
- Supports Annex 31 VAT New TAX Reform.
- Provides technical support to internal Customs Department Customs Technicians related to his/her job description.
- Coordinates import, export and traffic operations.
- Ensures, performs and coordinates the timely and secure flow of new product lines and transfers.
- May participate in Internal Customs yearly forecast as well as financial analysis and reports related to budget.
