The Client:

The client is seeking a senior geotechnical engineering consultant to support the design, assessment, and governance of tailings and mine waste storage facilities. This role focuses on geotechnical performance, seismic safety, and life cycle risk management for mining projects across South America.

What you will achieve in this role

• Lead advanced geotechnical field and laboratory investigations, including drilling, insitu testing, and material characterization for tailings and mine waste facilities
• Perform static and dynamic liquefaction analyses and seismic performance assessments of tailings storage facilities, dry stacking facilities, waste rock dumps, and heap leach pads
