**Overview**
We are building the Intelligent Conversation and Communications Cloud (IC3) — powering Microsoft's first-party real-time conversation and streaming products, notably Teams, with reliable, high-quality audio/video calling, meetings, and events at hundreds of millions of users. The Media Services team owns the highly scalable cloud media servers behind enabling the real time and streaming scenarios. We are seeking a Principal Software Engineering Manager to lead a team building mission-critical, low-latency media systems and to drive the next generation of AI-powered media experiences.
Potential candidate leads disciplined use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), integrating Responsible AI practices and recommending improvements.
