Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our healthcare team at a prison facilities in Peterborough. As a Band 5 Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to the inmate population within the prison. The successful candidate must have prison clearance and their own transport for commuting purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Administering medications to inmates during medication rounds and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Assessing and prioritizing inmate healthcare needs in clinic triage and making appropriate referrals.
• Responding to emergency medical situations within the prison and providing prompt care.
• Assisting in the admission and discharge processes of inmates with proper documentation.
• Owning personal transport for commuting to the prison facility.
