Our client manufactures packaging solutions for the
transportation of industrial machinery (both large and small).
These machines are transported by air freight, sea freight, or road
transport. During transport, the packaging may sometimes become
damaged. At the location near Eindhoven, these packages are
repaired so they can be reused.

Your new
workplace consists of 4 departments within one warehouse. The
process starts with the inspection of the packaging, and depending
on what needs to be done, it is sent to either the technical repair
department or the maintenance department. The technical repair
department handles the more complex repairs, while the maintenance
department repairs all wooden boxes.

If only
small parts are damaged and can be repaired quickly, the packaging
is sent to the R4R department. This stands for “Return for
Re-use.”
