Position Overview
The SQL Production Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of production database systems and SQL-based applications. This role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, performance tuning, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to maintain a reliable production environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor and troubleshoot production database systems and SQL-based applications.
Manage incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
Tune database performance and optimize SQL queries.
Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to maintain a reliable production environment.
Qualifications
Advanced SQL concepts and ability to develop complex queries.
Experience with CL, CLLE, RPG, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE for developing and debugging code.
Ready to work in production support and development activities.
