About ZEISS and the role:

The Production Manager leads end-to-end manufacturing and production operations, ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely, and in compliance with medical device quality standards and good manufacturing practices (GMP). This role sets the strategic direction for production, drives performance through KPIs, and develops teams while promoting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Production & Operations Leadership: Oversee production areas including biomaterials, machining, cleanroom operations, packaging, warehousing, and shipping.
• Manage supervisors and production staff while setting performance targets (volume, productivity, scrap rate, lead time).
• Ensure production plans meet demand forecasts and business targets.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective action plans when needed.
