Job Description
The Medical Faculty of the University of Basel and the University Hospital Basel invites applications for a clinical professorship (open rank) at the Institute of Nursing Science (INS).
The professorship is intended to further strengthen the internationally recognized profile of both institutions at the intersection of clinical excellence, nursing science innovation, and evidence-based care. In particular, the position will contribute to the strategic priorities of integrated models of care and their translation into innovative patient pathways, as well as self-management and support.
The professorship is embedded within the AcademicPractice Partnership (APP), a structured collaboration between the INS within the Faculty of Medicine and University Hospital Basel. In this role, the successful candidate will be expected to bridge research, teaching, and clinical nursing practice, foster innovation, and contribute to the sustainable advancement of the quality of patient care.
