Duties Description The Program Associate will function as the Assistant Director of Planning and Special Projects. Under the Director of the Office of Gun Violence Prevention (OGVP), the Assistant Director of Planning and Special Projects will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating OGVP’s external-facing efforts. This encompasses community engagement initiatives, the provision of technical assistance and capacity building and ensuring fidelity to the implementation of evidence-based gun violence prevention programs/strategies. Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Facilitating networking opportunities and communities of practice to strengthen collaboration and knowledge-sharing among gun violence prevention partners;
• Overseeing the identification and connection of statewide gun violence prevention partners with relevant resources, expertise, and partnerships, enhancing their overall capacity and programming;
