Program Director
Camp Big Canoe is an overnight camp located on a private lake in Bracebridge, Ontario. As the program camp director you will report directly to the executive director and work closely with our directing team. You will be responsible for creating and sharing the daily schedule so staff and campers know exactly what is happening and where to be. Your enthusiastic approach will be an asset when running whole camp and small group activities.
Key Responsibilities include:
Plan and deliver special camp-wide events, including TSTL (The Sky’s the Limit) and Special Day
Plan and coordinate the daily evening program with support from the staff team
Create and manage program staffing schedules for each camp session
Oversee all program areas, ensuring skill progressions are followed and tracked
