Project Accountant

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, CA

Position: Project Accountant at Aecon Group Inc.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Project Accountant plays an essential role in supporting project execution working with accounts payable, purchasing and payroll supporting multiple projects across Western Canada. This is an in‑office position based out of Vancouver, BC.

What You’ll Do Here:

• Responsible for project finance working with accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing, payroll and Business Unit finance to prepare partnership financial reports
• Assist in the preparation of cash flows for the project
• Prepare monthly reconciliations related to Balance Sheet & Income statement
• Assist with audits – financial, Internal control & tax
• Work with Project Operations Management team to identify and forecast financial exposures
