- Supports 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (24/7) security operations center with shift rotation position(s).
- Monitors physical security operations at designated sites which includes but is not limited to remote sites within a geographical area.
- Monitors cameras and access control systems covering data halls and entry/exit doors, and dispatches appropriate personnel, as necessary.
- Utilises excellent communications skills.
- Maintains accurate logs and records.
- Maintains documentation and follows standardized procedures to successfully complete unannounced audits.
- Identifies and escalates issues in accordance with documented policies and procedures.
- Briefs oncoming PSOC – Monitor on incidents taking place during his/her shift and incidents that are continuing into the oncoming shift.
