Overview

Quality Coordinator (M&E) position with responsibilities in QA/QC activities for mechanical and process works on industrial projects. Location: Port Colborne, Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Execute and maintain QA/QC activities for mechanical and process works, including piping, equipment installation, welding, surface preparation, testing, and turnover.
• Inspect and verify work related to process and mechanical equipment such as API tanks, vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, packaged systems, and mechanical systems including piping, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Apply and interpret applicable Codes and Standards, including ASME Section VIII, ASME B31.3, ASTM standards, the Ontario Building Code (OBC), and relevant CSA references.
• Review and verify welding documentation (WPS, PQR, WPQ), material traceability, and NDE results (VT, PT, MT, RT, UT).
