SSP – Complementary and Compassionate Services position (Full time, Replacement, At‑of‑hire, August2026)

Responsibilities

• Meet with students individually and in groups to assess emotional and mental wellness
• Respond to students at risk in the socio‑affective domain and plan interventions with student counsellors
• Work in conjunction with school staff to plan and deliver early prevention activities using a trauma‑informed lens that supports students’ social, emotional and mental well being
• Prepare monthly reports and document interventions related to specific students in a confidential file
• Provide ongoing mentoring in collaboration with student counsellors
• Develop effective liaisons with local community organizations
• In crisis situations in the school and/or community, activate and assist with the KI crisis response protocol
