Overview The Reconditioning Specialist is a civilian role deployed overseas for six months, delivering exercise and reconditioning services to Canadian Armed Forces members, partner nations, and civilian clients during deployment. The role supports the morale and welfare of troops by leading reconditioning programs, designing and implementing exercise prescription plans, and fostering healthy practices.

Responsibilities

Lead reconditioning programs for Canadian Armed Forces members with medical conditions and improve functional abilities.

Design and implement exercise and reconditioning programs tailored to individual limitations.

Provide fitness counseling to clients with physical and/or mental injuries and facilitate baseline testing.

Coordinate and manage physical fitness evaluations, data collection, assessment, and report writing.

Assist in training, professional development, and overall program management for the local team.
