Position Summary

Northern Health is seeking an experienced Recruiter, Medical Staff to join our Medical Affairs department.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, Medical Staff Retention and Recruitment, the Recruiter will source, screen, and engage physicians, nurse practitioners, and other medical staff and locum professionals. The Recruiter will build relationships with senior medical and clinical leaders, local governments, community stakeholders, schools, colleges, universities, and professional associations to develop targeted recruitment initiatives.

The Recruiter will maintain a database of locum medical professionals and manage the selection process and onboarding of assigned professionals into the Northern Health community. This includes maintaining contact with Medical Staff Leaders and hiring managers, reviewing policies, researching best practices in rural retention and onboarding, and recommending improvements to regional practices....
