Registered Nurse – ICU (Job Code: 2026‑047)

Location & Employment

Intensive Care Unit, Collingwood General & Marine Hospital – temporary full‑time (~6 months).

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment, treatment, and ongoing care for all ICU patients, including medical, surgical, chronic, pediatric, obstetrical, rehabilitative, and palliative cases.
• Provide supportive, therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative care in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Support infection control, safety, and quality improvement initiatives within the ICU.
• Participate in on‑call coverage and be available during 12‑hour shifts, days, evenings, and weekends as required.
