Registered Nurse - Unit 3E3 Urology & Gen Surgery Float Pool

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive patient and family centered care on an acute surgical unit in accordance with the UAH and AHS policy and procedures. The Casual Surgery Float Pool is responsible for providing relief staffing to 9 18+ bed units consisting of Plastic/Reconstructive, 2 General Surgery units, Urology, ENT/Otolarangology, Trauma and 3 Orthopedic Surgery. We strive to provide quality care to patients received from the operating room, emergency department, intensive care unit and directly from home and/or surgery clinics in addition to caring for patients received from other departments within the hospital from time to time.
