JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Program Manager/Director, the Registered Nurse is responsible to apply, in the practice setting, nursing theory, practical expertise, an awareness of community services and physiological and principles of health and disease. The RN receives reports from health professionals, obtains related health information, and collates the information for the clinical team at WRCC for triage, further assessment and planning. The position also follows up with patients and or community personnel, relaying WRCC clinical recommendations and orders.

The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable to provide safe, quality patient care within the standard of professional nursing practice and participates in quality initiatives and monitoring activities.
