As a Registered Practical Nurse at Extendicare, you will report directly to the Director of Care. Your role involves conducting clinical assessments, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. You will utilize your communication and critical thinking skills to deliver effective patient care tailored to each resident.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct clinical care assessments for residents
• Implement and evaluate individualized care/service plans
• Administer medications and direct resident treatment
• Coordinate resident care assignments among nursing team
• Respond to medical emergencies and significant condition changes
Requirements:
