PURPOSE:

SAH is working to continue to strengthen the temporary program funded by the Ministry of Health, known as the Clinical Scholar Program for the next fiscal year.Clinical Scholars are experienced nurses with frontline clinical skills and competencies who are employed to provide clinical mentorship to nurse mentees (including new nursing graduates, internationally educated nurses, nurses with a requirement to upskill and more). The Clinical Scholar will provide role modelling, clinical coaching, and mentoring through at-the-elbow support using a variety of teaching techniques.
