The Rehabilitation Assistant

The Rehabilitation Assistant is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents through strong leadership and motivation of Sienna team members.

Responsibilities

• Follow rehabilitation and mobilization program of residents as directed by the treating PT/OT.
• Assist assigned clients with established rehabilitative activities such as mobility and strengthening exercises, walking programs, and activities of daily living as directed.
• Demonstrate to residents the use of prescribed treatments/adaptive devices such as braces, wheelchairs, walkers, and modified eating utensils and personal care items as directed.
