At the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of KU Leuven, a full-time academic position is vacant within the research unit AFI (Accountancy, Finance and Insurance), more specifically in the Insurance research group. The position is open to both junior and senior researchers in the field of actuarial sciences. A focus on actuarial models and techniques for life insurance, health insurance, or pension products is considered an asset.
Junior candidates will be appointed at the rank of assistant professor (tenure track, five years). In the case of a positive evaluation after five years, the tenure track leads to a permanent appointment as associate professor. Senior candidates will be appointed at the rank of associate professor or (full) professor, depending on their qualifications and academic experience.
