At the Stem Cells, Ageing and Cancer team, Centre of Excellence CRESCO and Section for Microbiology, Oslo University Hospital, lead by Lorena Arranz, we have a full-time temporary position for three years as a researcher.
- “NEUROTARGET” aims to dissect how newly identified genetic variants involved in the sympathetic nervous system function are enriched in patients with myeloid cancers, their impact on hematopoiesis, and their potential as targets for therapeutic strategies. A central objective is the development of relevant mouse models, to characterize the pathogenic potential of the variants in vivo and the value of their targeting as therapy in preclinical models. Another important objective involves research with human stem cells and relevant stem cell niche components ex vivo and in vivo.
