Our client, a well-established law firm in Toronto, is seeking a Residential Real Estate Law Clerk to join their team. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in office.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential real estate files from open to close, including purchases, sales, refinances, and transfers
• Prepare and review closing documents, statements of adjustments, and reporting letters
• Conduct title and off-title searches and review title documents
• Coordinate mortgage funding and liaise with lenders, clients, and opposing counsel
• Prepare and register documents through Teraview
• Communicate with financial institutions, clients, and third parties throughout transactions
• Maintain accurate file records and manage transaction deadlines
• Assist with post-closing matters and file reporting
