The R&D Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and improving furniture products, ensuring manufacturability, functionality, cost efficiency, and safety. The role supports new product development (NPD), process innovation, material testing, and technical problem-solving to support production and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new furniture concepts based on customer requirements, trends, ergonomics, and sustainability.
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models for furniture, including BOM (Bill of Materials) and production specifications.
• Conduct prototype development, engineering trials, and performance testing to validate design feasibility.
• Collaborate with production, CNC, machining, upholstery, finishing, and assembly teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
