Job Description
Job Summary
The Sales Assistant plays an important hands-on and public-facing role at the UBC Farm, assisting with produce washing, packing, inventory, market sales, and direct sales to local restaurants and cafeterias. Through these activities, the Assistant helps create a welcoming, informative, and efficient sales environment for customers and community members. The role offers hands‑on experience in sustainable food sales, customer service, product handling, logistics, and basic data and inventory management within a dynamic farm setting.
Organizational Status
Reports to the Lead Sales Coordinator. Also receives supervision at markets from the Market Sales Coordinator. Works closely, in a collaborative environment, with other farm staff.
